To fulfill our mission and comply with strict state, federal, and grantor regulations, Hair It Is Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. We are required to verify the eligibility of individuals receiving our services. Documents such as a birth certificate, ID, and proof of low-income are strictly necessary to confirm criteria like residency, identity, and financial need, which are mandated by the funding sources (grants and government programs) that make our services possible. We treat your information with the utmost confidentiality and security. It is used only for program administration, reporting, and auditing purposes, and is never shared, sold, or used for marketing. Providing this information allows us to secure the necessary funding to continue offering our services free of charge to the community. Documents needed are birth certificate for each child, your government-issue ID or passport, proof of residency, and proof of low-income. Example of low-income; food stamp, medicaid, or child assistant letter. These services is only applicable for children in kindergarten through twelfth grade.
